"It's the day of the primary ya'll!!"
I live in North Carolina, and today is our day to vote in the primary. This is a big deal. VOTE.
I took my two year old with me this morning. He was very quiet, but squealed with delight when I let him press the "VOTE" button and he watched the screen melt away and a happy face pop up confirming that I have utilized my voice as an American citizen. Did he have any idea what was going on? No, he's two. Am I going to instill in him the fact that this is a very important part of his life? Yes. Keep tuned in for updates as to who wins.
